Terms and Conditions MAKING A RESERVATION Please contact us via telephone or email as per detail below:- (+44) 01454 855767 or email: wellcottage@blueyonder.co.uk PAYMENT We require accommodation to be paid for on arrival and accept all major credit and debit cards and cash, we do not accept cheques CANCELLATION POLICY Unlike large hotels which sometimes seem to specialise in overbooking, we are a small B&B and do not. Cancellations, when they occur, are therefore a serious matter for us. We require by 12 noon 48 hours prior to the commencement of the first night's stay, if the stay is of 7 nights or more we require 7 days notice to cancel the room. Without this notice, the full cost of the accommodation reserved will be charged unless we can re-let the room. This also applies if you shorten your stay or make any amendments. No shows will be charged the full amount of the booked period. We always endeavour to re-sell cancelled rooms and, if successful, will reimburse you pro rata. ARRIVAL, DEPARTURE AND KEYS Rooms are normally available from 12 noon; however, please let us know your expected time of arrival as our reception is not manned 24/7. New arrivals are requested to check in before 10.00 pm unless prior alternative arrangements have been made. Your room must be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure; late check out may result in a further charge. During your stay you can come and go at any time that suits you; however, please have consideration for our other guests, if you engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to other guests we reserve the right to terminate your booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation being given. Guests are expected to take care of the door keys during their stay, reimbursing any loss - which may involve the cost of changing locks as well as replacing keys. SMOKING All bedrooms and any part of our building are non smoking. We reserve the right to charge an extra night’s stay (at the prevailing B&B rate and using the credit/debit card details given to secure the booking) if we have to especially clean and air the room for 24 hours before another guest can occupy it. Guests are welcome to smoke outside the entrance to the kitchen where there is a smoking bin on the wall provided. DAMAGE In the unlikely event of replacement, cleaning or repair being required to any item(s) belonging to the B&B, or the fabric of the B&B itself, because of wilful damage, or damage incurred because reasonable precautions have not been taken, we reserve the right to reclaim all and any costs incurred including loss of business by charging the credit/debit card given to secure the booking, without prior consent being required. Invoices will be supplied to support the claims/cost charged. BRINGING DOGS CHILDREN FROM THE AGE OF 7yrs AND ABOVE ARE WELCOME. At Well Cottage B&B we offer the comfort and warmth of genuine character accommodation in this attractively convenient setting with the enviable position of being on the outskirts of the cosmopolitan and historic city of Bristol. All our accommodation is located in a unique setting of a converted stable block and a converted barn that dates back over 200 years with the added benefit of bedrooms at ground floor level.
